About the Role
We are recruiting a permanent, part-time Weekend Care Assistant to join the care team at Lawton Manor Care Home in Stoke on Trent.
In this essential weekend role, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to ensure residents enjoy fulfilling and comfortable weekends. Working 23 hours per week across weekend day shifts, you will assist residents with daily living routines, mobility, mealtime support, and meaningful one-to-one companionship.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality personal care, mobility support, and daily living assistance following individual care plans.
Spend dedicated one-to-one time with residents, offering emotional support, interaction, and companionship.
Support residents during mealtimes, ensuring proper nutrition, hydration, and an enjoyable dining experience.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date care logs and communicate effectively during shift handovers.
Respect resident choices, dignity, and independence across all weekend care activities.
About You
To join us as a Weekend Care Assistant, you will bring:
Previous experience caring for older adults (in a professional or personal capacity).
