Position: Secondary School Teacher (English, Science, or Maths, KS2 – KS4)
Location: Endeavour House School & 1 ACE Provision, Ilford, Greater London
Salary: £32,481 - £38,880 per annum (Dependent on Experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM – 4:30 PM; part-time options also open for discussion!)
Are you a passionate Secondary Teacher looking to make a transformative impact on young lives? We are growing our team at Endeavour House School and 1 ACE Provision in Ilford, London, and are seeking dedicated teachers specializing in English, Science, or Maths (teaching across KS2 to KS4).
In this varied and rewarding role, you will provide bespoke, therapeutic educational frameworks tailored to each individual child. Whether teaching in our Gold Award-winning Attachment and Trauma Sensitive school or delivering 1-to-1 outreach in the community for students who cannot attend traditional classrooms, you will help vulnerable young people unlock their passion for learning and achieve meaningful success.
Deliver engaging secondary lessons in English, Science, or Maths across KS2 to KS4.
Adapt teaching styles to follow a flexible structure, supporting students both in the classroom and out in the community on a 1-to-1 basis.
Work within a trauma-informed, therapeutic practice model to help children overcome past disruptions and build emotional wellbeing alongside academic progress.
Collaborate closely with a supportive, experienced team committed to student welfare, inclusion, and empowerment.
Maintain clear records, communicate effectively with colleagues and families, and champion child-centred values.
Essential Qualifications: NQT or QTS registration and the Right to Work in the UK.
Experience working within a specialist education provision, alternative setting, or a strong passion for making a difference.
Good written, IT, and communication skills, with a patient, active-listening approach.
A valid UK driving licence is desirable for community-based outreach work.
