The Role
Are you warm, enthusiastic, and passionate about maintaining pristine environments? Chorleywood Manor Care Home is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant on a flexible bank contract to ensure exceptional standards of cleanliness and laundry are consistently met across the home, maintaining luxury hotel service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out all cleaning duties strictly in accordance with worksheet instructions.
Understanding the cleaning requirements of various surfaces and coverings, as well as the properties of cleaning materials, to keep all areas well-presented and maintained.
Ensuring that all residents are treated with utmost dignity and respect, always safeguarding their personal space and belongings.

Requirements:
Good working knowledge of Health and Safety standards, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
Previous experience in cleaning or laundry within a public setting.
Genuine compassion and commitment to delivering a high-quality housekeeping and laundry service for residents.
Adaptability and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Requirements for Employment: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a DBS Disclosure check (the cost of which is fully covered by Avery Healthcare).
