As a Registered Nurse, your focus will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing all instructions to act on their behalf while ensuring high standards of clinical care and safety for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake vital nursing tasks including the distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and the management of chronic medical conditions.
Advise families and GPs of any changes in a resident’s condition that give rise to concern, keeping them informed and involved in choices for ongoing care.
Take responsibility for the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during your shift and residents receive the required care.
Provide high standards of clinical care by undertaking accurate assessments and planning.

Qualifications & Experience: Must hold a First Level qualification with current NMC Registration, backed by a minimum of 2 years of experience and up-to-date knowledge of care supported by relevant post-basic studies or qualifications.
Skills & Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities, and sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
Requirements: Applicants must have proof of eligibility to work in the UK and undergo a DBS disclosure check (cost met by Avery Healthcare).
