Your Role: What You’ll Do

As a Registered Nurse at Ashfield Court, you will be the clinical heart of our night/day teams, making vital decisions to ensure residents receive high-quality, dignified, and safe care.

• Clinical Leadership: Take charge of shifts, lead the care team, and manage shift planning.

• Complex Clinical Care: Manage medication administration and oversee essential tasks such as syringe drivers, catheterisation, taking bloods, PEG feeds, and stoma care.

• Tailored Care Planning: Create and review personalized care plans that balance residents' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

• Collaborative Practice: Liaise with GPs and Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT) while upholding strong clinical governance and safeguarding principles.

• Advocate for Wellbeing: Act as a champion for residents' independence, dignity, and choices.

What We Are Looking For

We seek dedicated, patient-focused professionals who pair strong clinical decision-making skills with a warm, caring nature.

• Professional Credentials: A recognized nursing qualification with a valid UK NMC PIN (RGN, RMN, or RNLD).

• Core Clinical Skills: Competence (or willingness to train) in syringe drivers, catheterisation, taking bloods, PEG feeds, and stoma care.

• Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).

• Physically Able: Comfortable performing physical tasks, including supporting residents with their mobility.

• Eligible to Work: Must have the right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance of Harrogate (HG2 8JG).
