Salary: £37,080 to £46,890 per annum + fantastic benefits + £3,000 Golden Hello or £5,000 towards domestic relocation costs (if applicable)
Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday with shift enhancements for weekend working)

As an Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioner, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team across six state-of-the-art operating suites. You will provide exceptional support during simple to complex surgeries—ranging from cardiac and orthopaedics to robotics and transplants—ensuring a safe, high-quality, and cost-effective environment for both patients and consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert assistance to consultants during all surgical procedures under local, regional, sedation, or general anaesthetics.
Prepare patients for clinical and operative procedures and deliver immediate, high-standard post-operative care.
Assist in patient positioning and preparation, ensuring correct labelling and dispatch of specimens.
Take charge of the clinical area in the absence of an advanced practitioner, ensuring the safety of patients, visitors, and staff.
Help control cross-infection by strictly adhering to departmental policies regarding hygiene, asepsis, and decontamination.
Relevant ODP or Anaesthetic Nurse qualification (current HCPC registration or active Adult RGN registration).
Post-registration experience within Anaesthetics, with a minimum of 2 years recent UK experience in anaesthetics.
A dedicated professional with a proven ability to deliver high standards of patient-centred care and work collaboratively within a dynamic team.
