About the Role

As a Peripatetic Care Home Deputy Manager at Barchester, you will travel across the region to support the delivery of exceptional, high-quality care. Working closely with General Managers and stepping into leadership duties during their absence, you will help oversee everything from care standards to team motivation.

You will inspire a multidisciplinary team to ensure every resident enjoys the best possible quality of life. This involves leading by example, monitoring compliance through regular audits, managing safeguarding investigations, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel across regional homes to provide leadership cover and operational support.

• Lead and motivate multidisciplinary care teams to deliver person-centred care.

• Monitor standards and ensure regulatory compliance through regular audits and risk assessments.

• Manage safeguarding investigations and support clinical and operational risk management.

• Assist with HR duties, budget management, and local sales/marketing initiatives.
