Deputy General Manager (Clinical)

Role Description

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is pleased to recruit a talented Deputy General Manager (Clinical) on behalf of our client to provide strong clinical oversight and leadership within a respected care home. Working directly alongside the General Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary nursing and care teams, ensure strict regulatory compliance, and drive clinical excellence to enhance the quality of life for all residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations, conduct regular practice audits, and ensure continuous adherence to CQC regulations and care standards.

• Lead and mentor nursing staff, managing clinical risk assessments, safeguarding procedures, and preceptorship programmes.

• Deputise for the General Manager in their absence, supporting operational management, budget controls, and local team leadership.

Requirements

• Active NMC Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with an active teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification.

• Proven clinical leadership experience within a residential or elderly care environment, including safeguarding management.

• Strong operational awareness, covering basic HR practices, budget management, and clinical governance.
