About the Service – The Oakleaf Group

The Oakleaf Group is firmly established as one of the UK’s premier providers of multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation services. While the main site is based in Hartwell, the group operates vital community and supported living houses across Duston, Weston Favell, Hunsbury, and Strawberry Hill.

A Note on Flexibility: To deliver seamless, high-quality rehabilitation, our community staff enjoy a dynamic role. You will work across various Oakleaf houses and sites in the Northampton area on a rota covering days, nights, and twilights, ensuring a diverse and engaging working environment.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will be the cornerstone of our clients' daily rehabilitation and social inclusion. Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering tailored, person-centred care in line with clinical and individual support plans.
Assisting with daily living skills, budgeting, and personal care where required.
Promoting dignity, independence, and neuro-rehabilitation goals.
Accompanying clients on community outings, therapeutic appointments, and recreational activities (such as trips to theme parks, local parks, meals out, and short holiday breaks).
Maintaining clear, accurate care records and working collaboratively within a specialist team.

Who We Are Looking For

No previous experience in brain injury care? No problem! If you have the empathy, patience, and the right attitude, our client will provide full training and a comprehensive, structured induction programme.

Requirements:

A valid UK Driving Licence is essential for this community-focused role.
A naturally patient, respectful, and resilient approach to care.
Willingness to work towards a Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care.
Flexibility to work a varied rota including days, nights, twilights, weekends, and bank holidays across multiple local sites.
An Enhanced DBS check is required (fully paid for by the client).
Visa Restrictions: We may be unable to support applications where Home Office visa restrictions prevent candidates from meeting the full contractual hours or requirements of this role.
