Band 5 - IV Therapy Homecare Nurse

We are recruiting an experienced, autonomous Band 5 Registered Nurse to join B. Braun Medical Ltd’s Clinical Homecare Nursing team. Working in partnership with NHS colleagues, you will deliver individualized, high-quality clinical care to patients requiring Parenteral Nutrition (HPN) and other IV therapies in the comfort of their own homes.
Working Pattern & Shift Details:
40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a rolling rota.
Structured around split shifts to meet patient needs (typically ~5 hours in the morning to disconnect patients and ~5 hours in the evening to reconnect them, with a break in the middle of the day). Flexibility is essential.
Administer prescribed IV therapies, Parenteral Nutrition (HPN), MABs, Methotrexate, and associated clinical care to patients unable to be trained to independence.
Provide patient and carer education and training on CVAD management (connection, disconnection, dressing changes, and infusion devices).
Support phlebotomy and cannulation services as required.
Monitor and report any clinical changes in patients promptly to the relevant nursing team, Regional Lead Nurse, or Trust.
Maintain accurate, contemporaneous nursing records in line with NMC guidelines and company KPIs.
Qualifications: Registered Nurse (Adult) with a current, valid UK NMC registration.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of current clinical experience, with proven competency in the management and delivery of IV therapies and CVADs.
Skills: Excellent communication and time-management skills, ability to work autonomously, make sound clinical decisions during emergencies, and manage a changing workload.
Driving: Full, current UK driving license and the flexibility to travel and visit patients across Kent and surrounding areas.
Electric or hybrid company car provided.
