Position: Pharmacist (Outpatient Service)

Employment Type: Bank Contract (Part-Time / Variable Shifts, minimum of 3 shifts per week)

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our Outpatient Pharmacy team on a bank contract basis. In this role, you will act as a Responsible Pharmacist (RP), providing a comprehensive, patient-focused service, ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing, and offering professional guidance to patients and clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a Responsible Pharmacist (RP) in the Outpatient Pharmacy, ensuring safe, legal, and efficient medication dispensing.
Provide professional leadership, strictly observing GPhC and RPS standards of conduct, ethics, and performance.
Deliver expert patient counselling and clear information regarding their medications.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams to promote the safe and effective use of medicines.
Handle individual patient needs and resolve clinical queries promptly.
Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Proven experience leading pharmacy teams and managing a pharmacy as a Responsible Pharmacist (RP).
Flexibility to work variable shifts between 08:30 – 20:00 (Monday to Friday) and Saturdays (08:30 – 2.30 PM), with a commitment to a minimum of 3 shifts per week.
Excellent team-working and communication skills.
Desirable: Previous clinical and hospital pharmacy experience.
