Barchester Healthcare is recruiting a Deputy General Manager (Clinical) – the Deputy Manager and Clinical Lead – for one of its care homes in Dumfries, Scotland. The role is permanent, 37.5 hours a week on days, and a £3,000 relocation package is offered.

What you will do:

• Work closely with the General Manager and lead the home when they are away
• Lead a multidisciplinary team so every resident has the best possible quality of life
• Check standards through audits, supervised clinical practice and regulatory compliance
• Plan and deliver strategies to keep care quality high

What they ask for:

• Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration
• A teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification
• Experience managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments
• Some HR experience, budget awareness and knowledge of sales and marketing
• Experience supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship
