About the Role

Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Lidl to recruit an assertive, adaptable, and experienced Senior Consultant - Acquisitions for their regional property team in Northfleet. In this pivotal role, you will take full ownership of the expansion and management of Lidl's property portfolio, targeting multiple towns and locations across the South East from Kent to Brighton.

From initial site identification and deal negotiation to managing the legal process and running planning through to completion, you will drive the full development lifecycle from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquisitions & Deal Management: Identify, negotiate, and acquire freehold and leasehold deals for new stores while undertaking site inspections and development appraisals.

• Planning & Lifecycle Ownership: Manage planning applications from original submission to consent, leading all expansion, relocation, and improvement projects.

• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key third parties, including landlords, tenants, local authorities, agents, and developers.

• Team Development: Train and develop members of the Property Team while overseeing real estate asset management.

What You’ll Need

• Previous experience and knowledge in retail acquisitions, land buying, commercial property, or town planning.

• A well-networked professional with refined negotiating skills and sound commercial property/legal acumen.

• A highly analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills, and a self-starting drive to succeed.

• A full driving licence and flexibility to travel throughout your patch (Kent to Brighton), along with occasional nationwide travel.

• MRICS qualification is preferred but not essential.
