About the Role
We are recruiting a reliable and caring Laundry Assistant on a permanent part-time day basis (16.5 hours per week) on behalf of Starr Hills in Lytham St Annes, an inspiring care home with an outstanding CQC rating.
In this important role, you will help ensure residents' clothing, bedding, and linen are cleaned to a high standard while always respecting their dignity, privacy, and personal choice to maintain a safe, comfortable, and hygienic environment.
What You Will Need
Experience: Previous experience in laundry work is desirable, but a strong work ethic, organisation, and positive attitude matter most.
Teamwork & Organisation: The ability to follow instructions, prioritise tasks effectively, and work well within a friendly, supportive team.
Flexibility & Proximity: A positive, flexible approach to work and sensitivity to the needs of older people. Ideally living within 15 miles of Lytham St Annes (FY8 5PQ) for a manageable commute.
