At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are proud to partner with Lift Schools to present this Tuition Fee-paying Initial Teacher Training (ITT) opportunity in Mathematics at Lift Four Dwellings Secondary. Delivered in partnership with Ark Teacher Training, this 1-year school-based programme allows you to train directly in the classroom while working toward a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Eligible trainees can access a tax-free bursary of up to £29,000 to support their training year.
You will spend the vast majority of your time gaining hands-on classroom experience, putting pedagogical theory into practice, and building your teaching confidence inside a supportive, high-performing secondary school environment.

Dual Qualifications: Graduate in 1 year with both a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Weekly Collaborative Training: Spend half a day every week attending targeted training modules alongside fellow trainees across the Ark Teacher Training and Lift Schools networks.
Two-Week Summer School: Prepare for your training year with two weeks of focused learning (2–13 August 2027) covering lesson planning, behaviour management, and core educational theory.

To be eligible for this Tuition Fee-paying Maths ITT position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Degree: An undergraduate degree (2:2 classification or above) completed by the start of the programme. A degree in Mathematics, STEM, or a related field is preferred (or a strong A-Level in Maths at Grade C or above).
GCSEs: Grade 4 (C) or higher in GCSE English & Mathematics (or equivalent).
Teaching Status: Must not currently hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Work Rights: Right to live and work in the UK for the duration of the training year.
