Senior Healthcare Assistant - North West Identification & Support Service

Marie Curie is looking for a full-time Senior Healthcare Assistant for a new service in South Liverpool, helping people with a terminal illness get palliative and end-of-life support earlier. You will work across GP practices and community hubs, with a strong focus on outreach.

What you will do:

• Build relationships, support referrals and help people and families find the right care
• Follow up identified needs and signpost people to services
• Give direct care and help with holistic assessment and care planning
• Support symptom management, advance care planning and conversations about dying and bereavement
• Work with Clinical Nurse Specialists and primary care colleagues

What they ask for:

• A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent
• Experience of palliative or end-of-life care is useful
• Confidence working on your own and planning your workload
• A valid driving licence and a vehicle with business insurance

Pay stated by the employer: £25,760 to £27,476 per year.
