Support Worker

Dimensions is looking for a full-time Support Worker (37.5 hours a week plus sleep-ins) in Eastleigh (SO50), near Southampton, to support a man with autism and learning disabilities in his own supported living home. He communicates without words and loves long walks, meals out, bowling and exploring.

What you will do:

• Help with meal preparation, shopping and household tasks
• Give personal care and support with medication
• Encourage the activities he enjoys and help him make his own choices
• Give 1:1 support, including lone working

• An active, proactive approach and a commitment to person-centred support
• Understanding of how important consistency is when building trust

Pay stated by the employer: £13.71 per hour.
