About the Role
In this critical role, you will play a key part in delivering the River Class Destroyer (RCD) Programme, managing supply chain contract structures and data within the Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment. You will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and readiness of Integrated Bill of Material (iBoM) data to support efficient material procurement and seamless programme execution alongside key international supply chain stakeholders.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordinate cross-functional BoM reviews to develop, validate, and maintain the Engineering Bill of Materials for the RCD Programme.
Produce and deliver high-quality BoM documentation to customer supply chain stakeholders.
Conduct detailed BoM analysis and investigations to provide actionable recommendations for resolving complex technical and programme issues.
Create, maintain, and govern planning BoM structures within the PLM environment.
What We Are Looking For (Essential Skills & Qualifications):
Professional Experience: Proven track record in Bill of Material (BoM) integration, product data management, and governance within a complex engineering environment.
Toolsets Proficiency: Considerable knowledge of PLM, PDM, and ERP toolsets (such as Windchill, Aveva ERM, or SAP), with a strong focus on improving data quality and business processes.
Change Management: Familiarity with Engineering Product Change processes, policies, and configuration control.
Educational Background: Ideally degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline, with professional registration as a Chartered Engineer (or working toward equivalent status).
Security Note: Due to defense and export control restrictions, all applicants must achieve at least a Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Higher levels of National Security Vetting may apply where required.
