Salary: £31,350 to £34,650 per annum (includes 10% non-contractual London Weighting; plus £3.50/hr for night shifts and £2.00/hr for bank holidays)

Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Lidl to recruit a hard-working, focused, and reliable Warehouse Maintenance Operative in Belvedere. In this vital facility management role, you will keep the distribution center running smoothly by looking after essential equipment, machinery, fixtures, and fittings.
From troubleshooting mechanical equipment to collaborating with external contractors, your flexible approach and can-do attitude will ensure the warehouse stays in tip-top condition while offering a workplace full of variety and fresh challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Servicing: Continually manage, repair, and service equipment, updating service schedules and records.
Breakdown Support: Swiftly resolve issues, fix breakdowns, and support all departments within the warehouse team.
Fault Finding: Problem-solve and fault-find across a range of Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE).
Contractor Collaboration: Work alongside external contractors to complete complex maintenance tasks safely.
Health & Safety: Follow and champion good working practices as a true health and safety advocate on site.
What You’ll Need
Confidence working with mechanical equipment (such as PPTs, LLOPs, and FLTs).
Practical ability to work safely with hand tools and specialist lifting equipment.
A self-motivated, positive attitude with strong initiative.
A flair for multi-tasking, prioritizing conflicting deadlines, and keeping a keen eye for detail in a bustling environment.
