The Role
Are you warm, enthusiastic, and passionate about creating engaging and meaningful experiences? Rowan Court Care Home is seeking a dedicated Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator on a permanent contract to provide a wide range of activities that stimulate residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being while promoting dignity, independence, and choice.
Key Responsibilities:
Identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents through conversations with them and their families to develop detailed life stories.
Planning and submitting monthly activity/wellbeing plans and weekly overviews to the Home Manager.
Arranging exciting activities, events, and outings, actively encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives, and visitors.
Maintaining a safe living and working environment while contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.

Requirements:
Previous experience working with older people in a residential, nursing, or dementia care setting.
Experience in organising and running activities and events.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
A positive attitude toward older people and a strong commitment to providing stimulating, high-quality social events.
Requirements for Employment: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a DBS Disclosure check (the cost of which is fully covered by Avery Healthcare).
