About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and intuitive Bank Support Workers for flexible day and night placements in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire.

In this role, you will work as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team within an independent mental health hospital, supporting patients who present with complex and sometimes challenging behaviors. You will help build a safe, structured, and empowering environment where patients are treated with dignity and respect as they work toward maximum independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working alongside a multidisciplinary team to support patients with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviors.

• Assisting patients with daily routines, encouraging independence, personal development, and social engagement.

• Promoting a safe, therapeutic, and respectful environment for all patients and staff.

• Building positive, trusting professional relationships and providing warm companionship.

• Providing flexible bank cover for annual leave, sickness, or peak periods across day or night shifts.

About You

• Attributes: Naturally warm-hearted, resilient, patient, and genuinely interested in mental health support.

• Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong emotional intelligence, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

• Experience: Previous experience is welcomed, but a compassionate attitude and willingness to learn are most important—full training will be provided!
