Supportive Bridge is recruiting on behalf of Bupa for a Senior Care Assistant to join the team at Richmond Villages Letcombe Regis in Oxfordshire.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced care professional to provide high-quality, person-centred care while supporting the nursing team and leading Care Assistants in delivering outstanding care to residents.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day running of a care unit.
Support nurses with clinical duties, including medication administration, observations, and care plan updates.
Supervise and support Care Assistants during shifts.
Assist with staff training, induction, and shift handovers.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Provide personal care while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Maintain accurate care records and ensure high standards of care.

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
Previous experience in a senior care role.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to support clinical care and maintain accurate records.
