About the Role

As a Bank Activities Assistant, you will step in during peak times, annual leave, or sickness to design, coordinate, and host imaginative activity programs tailored to residents' diverse interests and abilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Program Design: Helping to devise and deliver fun, motivational, and stimulating group activities and one-to-one sessions that promote wellbeing and independence.

• Person-Centred Engagement: Spending quality time getting to know residents’ hobbies, life stories, and preferences to build tailored social experiences.

• Community & Events: Inspiring resident participation in internal events, games, arts, crafts, and excursions into the local community.

• Flexible Support: Providing enthusiastic day-shift cover on a bank basis based on your availability and the home's schedule.

About You

Key Requirements:

• Attributes: Empathetic, highly organized, enthusiastic, and passionate about celebrating life and fostering social engagement.

• Skills: Excellent communication and motivational skills with a creative mindset.

• Experience: Previous experience in event planning, social care, leisure, or activities coordination is ideal but not essential—full training will be provided.
