Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Saturday: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Additional Level 3 hours available)

As a Fitness Instructor working on behalf of Leisure Solutions Community Trust (LSCT) at Leys Pool & Leisure, you will inspire people to achieve their health and fitness goals while helping create a welcoming, community-focused environment where everyone can thrive.
Your work has direct purpose, supporting members through every stage of their fitness journey. Whether you are conducting fitness assessments, onboarding new members, or leading group exercise sessions, you will play a vital role in delivering lasting health results.
Programme Delivery: Deliver health and fitness programmes, coaching members on structured exercise plans tailored specifically to their personal goals.
Progress Tracking: Monitor member progress, attendance, and exercise activity to provide ongoing motivation and support.
Assessments & Onboarding: Carry out comprehensive health and fitness evaluations (including body composition, cardiovascular, and strength checks) and welcome new members.
Class Instruction: Deliver group fitness, small group training, and personal training sessions to high coaching standards.
Environment & Service: Promote a safe, clean, and inclusive gym environment while delivering exceptional customer service to all visitors.
We are looking for an approachable, energetic fitness professional with a strong commitment to member care and inclusive health engagement.
Core Qualification: Hold a recognized Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification.
Personal Training: Hold a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification, or show a willingness to work towards this within your first 12 months of employment.
Desirable Skills: Level 3 GP Referral qualification or group training certifications (such as circuits, indoor cycling, or HIIT) are advantageous.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong understanding of fitness principles combined with a passion for building trust, motivating clients, and delivering customer-focused care.
Vetting Requirement: An Enhanced DBS check and an Occupational Health Questionnaire are required for this role (safeguarding checks and DBS processing provided free of charge).
Financial Package: Competitive hourly rate of £14.06 per hour.
