Salary: Circa £46,000 (Dependent on skills and experience)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with BAE Systems to source an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer (Class Output Management) for their Maintenance Management team within Asset Management.

As a key member of the Class Output Management (COM) team, you will be responsible for producing accurate and optimised maintenance work packages using advanced toolsets, engineering governance, and standardised processes. By analyzing defect trends, material states, and maintenance management systems, you will enhance demand planning, drive root cause investigations, and ensure seamless delivery for current and future platforms.
Produce optimised maintenance work packages for designated platform classes using maintenance management systems, staff feedback, and condition-monitoring insights.
Assess maintenance costs, investigate defect trends, and identify underlying root causes to improve future forecasting.
Maintain continuous assessments of material state for designated systems, monitoring, reporting weekly performance, and updating records as required.
Produce clear, well-written work packages ready for planning and estimation by delivery teams, incorporating relevant classification updates.
Build and maintain effective relationships across the COM, Waterfront Service Provider, and wider enterprise engineering networks.
Education: ONC, HNC, HND, or Degree-level qualification in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical), or equivalent relevant practical experience.
Specialist Knowledge: Specialist engineering expertise within a mechanical or electrical subject area.
Lifecycle & Compliance: Solid working knowledge of the engineering lifecycle, alongside adherence to statutory regulations (Safety, Health, Environment, Information Systems, and Security requirements).
Security Clearance: Must achieve a minimum of Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
