Pay: £13.21 per hour

Hours: 12.00 hours per week (Part-time, Permanent)

Schedule: Days (3 days per week, 4 hours per day, including alternate weekends)

At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are currently recruiting a permanent Food & Beverage Assistant on behalf of Barchester Healthcare to join the hospitality team at Bloomfield Care Home in Bath, Somerset.

In this engaging part-time position, you will work alongside the kitchen and hospitality teams to ensure every mealtime is a warm, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for residents, visiting families, and guests. From preparing dining areas and serving wholesome meals to assisting with light kitchen tasks, your attention to detail will ensure high standards of dining and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Dining Service: Prepare dining areas and serve fresh meals, beverages, and snacks to residents and visitors with a warm, professional touch.

• Hospitality Support: Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure dining spaces are clean, comfortable, attractive, and well-presented.

• Food Safety & Hygiene: Adhere strictly to food hygiene standards, assisting with dishware, cleaning, and light food prep duties where required.

• Resident Connection: Take the time to understand resident dining preferences, providing personalized and attentive service during every shift.

About You

• Experience: Background in hospitality, catering, food service, or customer-facing environments.

• Attributes: Friendly, caring, professional, and genuinely passionate about excellent customer service.

• Skills: Strong communication skills, good teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently during busy dining hours.

• Standards: Sound understanding of basic food hygiene and health & safety practices.
