Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is currently recruiting a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join the team at The Meadows Care Home in Didcot, Oxfordshire. Role Overview
Position: Housekeeper
Location: The Meadows Care Home, Britwell Road, Didcot, OX11 7JN
Pay Rate: £13.14 per hour (NVQ and weekend enhancements available)
Contract Type: Permanent, 21 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (6-hour days) — Week 1: 3 shifts, Week 2: 4 shifts
Closing Date: Monday, 31st August 2026
About The Meadows
Situated on a quiet residential street near Didcot town centre, The Meadows offers compassionate, individualised residential, respite, early-stage dementia, and nursing care for up to 68 residents in a welcoming, friendly, and cosy environment.
What You Will Be Doing
Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all rooms and living spaces to ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
Acting as a champion for infection control, utilizing specialised equipment and materials.
Interacting warmly with residents, some of whom may love to join in with simple cleaning and laundry tasks!
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous housekeeping experience is a bonus, but not essential—full training is provided if you are new to the profession!
Key Traits: Comfortable working in an elderly care setting, able to relate to residents with care and sensitivity, taking great pride in your work.
