We are looking for committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a well-established, successful staff team. With class sizes strictly limited to no more than 6 students, you will have the unique opportunity to provide deep, meaningful, one-to-one and small-group attention that helps neurodivergent children truly flourish.

What You’ll Do

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work hand-in-hand with class teachers and specialist therapists to create a nurturing environment that prepares students for the demands of adult life. Your day-to-day duties will include:

Targeted Academic Support: Assisting students with their coursework, tailoring the learning pace to accommodate individual sensory and cognitive needs.
Social & Emotional Mentorship: Helping children develop vital communication, life, and emotional-regulation skills in a safe, structured classroom setting.
Behavior Management: Implementing positive behavior support approaches to defuse anxiety and manage challenging behaviors constructively.
Collaborative Practice: Contributing to individual educational and care targets alongside a dedicated, multidisciplinary team of professionals.

Who You Are

This role is ideal for those who genuinely love helping children overcome barriers to learning, and it acts as an unbeatable stepping stone for anyone considering a future career in Teaching to gain first-hand classroom experience.

Educated: You hold GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above.
Experienced: Prior experience working with young people in a classroom environment, ideally supporting children with ASD, SEND, or complex educational requirements.
Knowledgeable: A foundational understanding of child development, standard classroom dynamics, and learning processes.
