Salary: £54,140.87 per year
Location: Allied Medical Practice / Church Surgery, Brighton, BN2 4ES (with occasional travel across IC24 Sussex sites)

We are looking for an ambitious, builder-minded Lead Nurse / Advanced Practitioner to join Integrated Care 24 (IC24) in Brighton. This is not a maintenance role; we are on a major transformation journey bringing Allied Medical Practice and Ship Street Surgery together into one group ahead of a move into purpose-built practices next year. You will combine advanced clinical practice with hands-on, visible leadership to build, shape, and develop our nursing and clinical workforce from the ground up.
Provide visible, hands-on clinical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Practice Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.
Deliver advanced clinical assessments and care while acting as a role model for clinical excellence and establishing consistent standards.
Drive clinical governance, quality improvement, audits, and compliance across the practices.
Implement new ways of working, develop clinical pathways, and guide colleagues through service transformation.
Champion professional development through mentoring, one-to-ones, and structured support plans.
Collaborate with Practice Managers, Clinical Leads, and the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes, access, and overall experience.
Qualifications: First Level Registered Nurse with a current, valid UK NMC registration and a Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.
Experience: Proven clinical experience within General Practice, Primary Care, or Urgent Care, alongside experience supporting, mentoring, or managing clinical teams.
Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical leadership, robust decision-making skills during emergencies, a solid understanding of clinical governance and audits, and resilience to lead through change. You must possess a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a genuine passion for developing people.
