Supportive Bridge is recruiting on behalf of Elysium Healthcare for a Physical Health Lead (Part-time) to join St Neots Neurological Centre in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a strong background in physical healthcare to lead and develop physical health initiatives within a specialist neurological service. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve physical healthcare pathways, promote wellbeing, and ensure high standards of clinical governance while supporting service users to achieve better health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop physical healthcare pathways across the service.
Provide clinical guidance and best practice advice on physical health matters.
Design and deliver health promotion programmes and initiatives.
Oversee compliance with physical healthcare standards and key performance indicators.
Conduct annual physical health assessments and medical screenings.
Establish and manage physical health screening processes, including blood collection.
Coordinate with visiting GP services and external healthcare providers.
Support medication monitoring and mandatory clinical testing.
Deliver training, supervision and support to nursing staff.
Lead quality improvement projects and promote continuous service development.

Requirements

Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC registration.
Minimum of 2 years' post-registration experience.
Experience in physical healthcare leadership and clinical governance.
Experience managing long-term physical health conditions.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Experience with quality improvement projects and KPI management.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
