Salary: £28,557.79 - £32,802.41 Per Annum (CGL points 23 to 28)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit two dedicated, compassionate, and motivated permanent Recovery Coordinators to join their expanding team at HMP Channings Wood in Newton Abbot.
With HMP Channings Wood preparing for a significant prison expansion, this is an incredible time to join a growing service with excellent opportunities for career development and progression. In this role, you will work closely with individuals throughout their recovery journey—providing tailored support, delivering one-to-one interventions, facilitating group sessions, and helping service users overcome challenges and reduce substance-related harm.
Assessments & Care Planning: Carry out comprehensive assessments and develop personalised recovery plans tailored to each individual's needs.
Interventions & Group Work: Deliver engaging one-to-one interventions and facilitate group sessions that build confidence, resilience, and independence.
Harm Reduction & Advocacy: Help reduce drug and alcohol-related harm, promote healthier lifestyles, and advocate on behalf of service users to improve access to support.
Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work collaboratively with prison staff, healthcare teams, and partner organisations to monitor progress and support positive rehabilitation outcomes.
Transferable Skills & Passion: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage people who may be reluctant to access support.
Background Diversity: Experience in substance misuse, criminal justice, mental health, social care, healthcare, or mentoring is welcomed, but not essential—we value strong transferable skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for helping others, and will provide full training.
Core Competencies: Well-organised, able to manage competing priorities, and capable of working well both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements: Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK (note: this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check).
