As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at Lydfords, you will play a crucial leadership role in delivering quality, person-centred care and support. Working alongside the Deputy General Manager, you will supervise and inspire a dedicated team of Care Assistants during your shifts.
You will also support the clinical team in specialist areas such as medication management, resident assessments, care plan updates, and care reviews—all while championing resident dignity, choice, and a vibrant, welcoming environment.
Supervise, mentor, and inspire the care team during shifts.
Support the clinical team with medication administration, care plans, and risk assessments.
Deliver and oversee individualised, high-quality care that respects resident dignity.
Help maintain a warm, safe, and vibrant atmosphere within the home.
Provide flexible bank cover to support the team as needed (e.g., annual leave or sickness cover).
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Knowledge: Specific knowledge and experience of clinical care for the elderly.
