Marie Curie Registered Nurses Intermediate Care Beds Edinburgh Hospice

Marie Curie is recruiting several full-time Registered Nurses for its intermediate palliative care beds at Marie Curie Hospice Edinburgh, on fixed-term contracts until August 2027. These beds give 24/7 care to people near the end of life who are admitted from hospital or home.

What you will do:

• Give high-quality, holistic, person-centred palliative care
• Work in a multidisciplinary team in partnership with NHS Lothian and Edinburgh HSCP
• Help shape a new model of care designed to ease hospital pressures

What they ask for:

• Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
• Understanding and experience of palliative and end-of-life care
• Excellent, sensitive communication with patients, families and colleagues

Pay stated by the employer: £34,544 to £43,039 per year. Benefits stated by the employer include 27 days' annual leave plus public holidays (pro rata), a pension with employer contributions, training and professional development, a Blue Light Card, Benefit Hub discounts and life assurance.
