About the Role
As a Bank General Assistant at West Abbey Care Centre, you will carry out a diverse range of responsibilities to help provide the quality care and support our residents deserve. No two days will be the same as you lend your support across housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and catering operations.
Because of this wide-reaching role, you will play a direct part in creating a warm, homely environment while building positive, meaningful relationships with our residents and visitors alike.
Key Responsibilities
Support diverse operational needs across housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and catering duties.
Help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming surroundings throughout the care centre.
Assist with food service, dining preparation, or domestic tasks as required.
Build warm, positive professional relationships with residents, enhancing their daily experience.
Provide flexible bank cover to support the team during planned or unplanned absences.
