About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bank Housekeeping Assistant for flexible day placements in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire.
In this role, you will play an essential part in maintaining a clean, safe, comfortable, and secure environment within an independent mental health hospital. Providing cover for planned or unplanned staff absences, your daily cleaning and housekeeping duties will directly contribute to the safety, hygiene, and comfort of patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing a range of housekeeping, cleaning, and sanitizing tasks across patient wards, communal spaces, offices, and visitor areas.
Upholding stringent hygiene standards, infection control, and health and safety procedures tailored to a hospital setting.
Safely using, managing, and storing cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
Providing flexible bank cover for annual leave, sickness, or peak times on day shifts.
Interacting respectfully, warmly, and compassionately with patients, healthcare professionals, and visitors.
