Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust to recruit a skilled, compassionate, and accredited Psychological Lead Therapist (Band 7) for their specialist Perinatal Mental Health Team.
This is a unique leadership and clinical opportunity where you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological therapies—including parent-infant interventions—across various settings (homes, clinics, and telemedicine). You will be provided with specialised parent-infant therapeutic intervention training while helping shape clinical practice, support team members, and promote a perinatal frame of mind to enhance parent-infant relationships.
Deliver evidence-based psychological therapies and parent-infant interventions across diverse clinical settings.
Make autonomous clinical decisions, contribute to care planning, and provide expert consultation and support to colleagues.
Assist the Team Manager and Clinical Lead with operational duties, clinical leadership, and ongoing service development.
Promote a perinatal frame of mind to safeguard and improve mental health outcomes and parent-infant bonding.
Qualifications:
Doctorate-level training in clinical or applied psychology (accredited by the BPS, or holding a BPS Statement of Equivalence), OR
Specialist postgraduate training to Master's level or equivalent in a psychotherapeutic modality, with full accreditation from a recognised psychological therapy body (e.g., BABCP, BACP, UKCP).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience delivering evidence-based psychological therapies within a mental health setting, including clinical leadership experience.
Knowledge & Skills: Sound expertise in evidence-based psychological therapies, relevant specialist clinical training, and a strong understanding of the parent-infant relationship.
Requirements: Must hold appropriate UK professional registration and maintain the legal Right to Work in the UK.
