We are currently looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Swimming Teachers to join the team at Woughton Leisure Centre. By following the tried-and-tested Swim England Learn to Swim framework, you will help develop water confidence and essential life skills for swimmers of all ages—with many progressing to swim competitively or represent our country!
What You’ll Do
Engaging Lessons: Deliver safe, fun, and progressive swimming lessons using structured frameworks to build confidence and ability.
Student Progression: Monitor and support swimmer development, creating a positive and encouraging environment for learners of all backgrounds.
Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with students and parents, representing the values of health, fitness, and community wellbeing.
Professional Growth: Participate in ongoing training and specialist Continuous Professional Development (CPD) through our in-house Aquatic Training Academy.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: Must hold either an STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or a Swim England (ASA) Level 2 qualification.
Safety Qualifications (Desirable): Holding a valid RLSS UK NPLQ, RLSS UK NRASTC, or STA Safety Award for Teachers is advantageous, but free training can be provided if needed.
Customer Skills: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Flexibility: A passion for teaching and a desire to work flexible hours around your personal commitments.

Vetting and Mandatory Checks
