About this role
Cygnet Health Care is recruiting a Care and Support Worker (days) at Gotts Park, Yorkshire Supported Living in Leeds. The service has 18 tenancies for people with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge, many stepping down from hospital. The role is full time, 42 hours a week on 12-hour day shifts, with alternate weekends on a two-week rota.
What you will do:
- Give physical and emotional support, guidance and encouragement
- Learn each person's needs and help in the most suitable way
- Help with, and report on, medical and welfare needs
- Safeguard the people in your care and keep the environment safe and clean

- You will also support people to get out into the community (work, college, hobbies, days out) and to learn everyday skills such as cooking and cleaning
Pay stated by the employer: £13.15 per hour, rising to £13.45 after three months.
