Position: Customer Team Member (Part-Time / Permanent)

Pay Rate: £13.04 per hour

Hours: 15 hours per week + regular overtime opportunities

Looking for a flexible part-time role with a trusted, community-focused employer? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with the Co-op to recruit energetic and friendly Customer Team Members for their busy store in Ilkley.

In this role, you’ll be a vital part of the local community, helping provide essential services and a warm, welcoming shopping experience. Whether you are working on the shop floor, operating tills, preparing items in our in-store bakery, or helping with daily store operations, every shift brings something new!

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering Great Service: Providing warm, helpful service to customers and helping put things right when needed.

• Store Operations: Working hands-on across the shop floor, tills, and in-store bakery to keep the store running smoothly, safely, and legally.

• Merchandising & Stock: Keeping shelves stocked and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy.

• Community & Membership: Promoting Co-op Membership and supporting local community initiatives.

Working Pattern & Requirements

• Hours: 15 hours per week on a permanent contract, plus regular opportunities for overtime.

• Working Pattern: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, including weekends. This role will include working in our in-store bakery.

• Age Requirement: You must be aged 18 or over for this role as it may involve working before 6:00 AM.

• Commutability: Applicants must live within a commutable distance of Ilkley.

• Experience: Retail experience is not required—full, paid training is provided from day one!
