About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bank Housekeeping Assistant for flexible day placements in Lymm, Cheshire.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in creating a warm, safe, and homely environment for residents, visitors, and care staff. By providing cover for planned or unplanned staff absences, your daily housekeeping and cleaning duties will directly enhance the wellbeing and comfort of everyone in the care home.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing a variety of housekeeping and cleaning tasks across resident rooms, lounges, dining areas, and staff facilities.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, tidiness, and infection control across all areas.
Safely using and managing cleaning equipment, supplies, and materials according to health and safety guidelines.
Providing flexible cover for annual leave, sickness, or peak times on day shifts.
Interacting warmly, respectfully, and compassionately with residents and team members.
