About the Role

Supportive Bridge is recruiting on behalf of Elysium Healthcare for a Healthcare Assistant to join Rosebank House in Reading, Berkshire, UK.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join a supportive multidisciplinary team providing high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health needs. You will play a key role in supporting service users throughout their recovery journey while working in a positive environment that values compassion, teamwork and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, person-centred care to service users.
Support individuals with daily living activities and personal care where required.
Participate in ward rounds and observe changes in service users' wellbeing.
Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
Assist with recovery-focused care and therapeutic activities.
Work collaboratively with nurses and the multidisciplinary team.
Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
Maintain a safe and supportive care environment.
Follow safeguarding, health & safety and organisational policies.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker in the UK.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient and professional approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible to work 12.5-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
Commitment to delivering high-quality care.
