As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead and work alongside our care team to deliver exceptional personal care and support. Your leadership will help foster a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for our residents, visitors, and staff members alike.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor residents' wellbeing closely, identifying changes in needs and ensuring care plans and written records are kept up-to-date.
Play an active role in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
Support residents safely with their medication requirements.
Undertake staff supervisions and support junior team members with their professional development.
Act as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and healthcare professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns are promptly escalated.

Qualifications: Must hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
Skills & Qualities: Effective verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude to mentoring staff and nurturing residents, and the flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities.
Requirements: Applicants must have proof of eligibility to work in the UK and undergo a DBS disclosure check (cost met by Avery Healthcare).
