Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Lidl to recruit a resilient, confident, and trusted Deputy Store Manager in Bude. In this key leadership role, you will be cool, calm, and collected, getting stuck in both on the shop floor and behind the scenes.
From managing cash processes and stock integrity to inspiring your colleagues, you will play a massive part in creating a supportive workplace. You will also enjoy great responsibility while the Store Manager is absent, taking ownership of the store and leading by example.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Example: Set a spectacular example for the store team and customers while independently managing the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
Operations & KPIs: Diligently check and work deliveries, manage the till area, monitor key performance indicators, and ensure compliance with Health and Safety guidelines.
Customer Service: Be a friendly, welcoming face for every shopper, offering exceptional service and assistance with all queries.
Team Development: Motivate and support your colleagues, championing company values and creating an environment where everyone can thrive.
What You’ll Need
Proven experience leading and developing a team in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills to assist colleagues and customers in an open, friendly way.
