About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Avery Healthcare to recruit a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Senior Care Assistant for Moorlands Lodge Care Home in Surrey.
In this senior position, you will work alongside and support the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, fostering a safe, caring, inclusive, and supportive environment for residents, visitors, and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, identifying any changes impacting care plans and updating written records to reflect new needs.
Lead and participate in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and completing monthly evaluations.
Support residents safely with their medication requirements.
Undertake staff supervisions and assist in nurturing and developing team members.
Serve as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns are escalated appropriately.

What We Are Looking For:
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in care for care homes.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attitude & Leadership: A positive, supportive disposition toward nurturing both residents and staff.
Flexibility: Responsiveness and adaptability to cover a range of shift responsibilities.
