Retail Shift Manager (London Hounslow)

Pay: £16.30 - £16.80 per hour (Earn an extra £2.00/hr on Bank Holidays and £3.50/hr for night shifts)

Hours: Permanent, Full Time (40-hour contract, various shifts)

Experience: Management/Leadership experience required

About the Role

Are you an experienced leader looking for a rewarding management role in West London? We are looking for an organised, reliable Shift Manager to help run the busy Lidl store on Hospital Road. In this role, you will take real ownership of the shop floor, lead by example, and ensure the branch runs like clockwork every day.

What You Will Do

Lead the team: Motivate your colleagues, delegate tasks quickly, and create an environment where everyone can succeed.
Run the store: Manage everyday essentials like cash processes, stock levels, inventory, and product freshness.
Help customers: Ensure every visitor receives a top-tier shopping experience.
Step up: Confidently take charge of store operations and lead the team when senior managers are off-site.

What You Need

Proven experience leading a team and hitting targets in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to assign tasks fairly and keep the team motivated.
A friendly, patient attitude and the ability to stay perfectly calm under pressure.
A proactive approach to helping your colleagues develop their skills.
