Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is currently seeking a flexible, enthusiastic Bank Kitchen Assistant to join the friendly catering team at Monkscroft Care Centre in Cheltenham. Role Overview
Position: Kitchen Assistant (Bank Contract)
Location: Monkscroft Care Centre, Shelley Road, Cheltenham, GL51 7DP
Pay Rate: £13.01 per hour (Weekend enhancements available)
Contract Type: Bank (Flexible hours/shifts)
Shift Times: 08:00 – 14:00, 08:00 – 18:30, or 14:00 – 18:30
Closing Date: Wednesday, 30th September 2026
About Monkscroft Care Centre
Located in the heart of Cheltenham, Monkscroft Care Centre offers outstanding, person-centred, and friendly dementia and nursing care for up to 80 residents in a charming and comfortable environment.
What You Will Be Doing
Working alongside our passionate catering team to prepare delicious meals, snacks, and drinks.
Getting to know residents personally, understanding their individual likes and dislikes to ensure mealtimes are always a highlight.
Maintaining pristine kitchen hygiene standards with a positive, can-do attitude.
What You Will Bring
No formal experience required: While a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is helpful, full training is provided. A passion for cooking and high hygiene standards are what matter most!

Great communication skills: Confident in interacting with elderly residents and collaborating with the wider care team.
