Clare House provides nursing, residential, convalescence, and respite care in a friendly, light-filled environment surrounded by landscaped gardens and tranquil sensory spaces.
As a Kitchen Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will be part of a fantastic kitchen team that serves as the magic behind every delicious, well-crafted dish, ensuring residents enjoy an exceptional dining experience that makes them feel right at home.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the essential link between the main kitchen and our residents.
Assist chefs in plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and ensuring all preparation areas are kept clean, tidy, and hygienic.
Monitor stock rotation carefully, complying with company policies and mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
Assist with catering and food preparation for special events, including summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
What We Are Looking For
A genuine passion for food with previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
A valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
A customer-focused attitude with a desire to deliver excellent service and make residents feel at home.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and care home teams.
