As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, your focus will be to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of engaging and stimulating activities designed to enhance our residents' physical, cognitive, and social wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe living and working environment while contributing to the positive, professional image of the home.
Report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and care staff.
Support with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities as directed.
Help establish links with the local community (such as schools, spiritual groups, museums, and libraries) to encourage access to the wider community and promote intergenerational activities.

Experience: Previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing or dementia setting.
Skills & Attributes: Effective verbal and written communication skills, an understanding of how meaningful interaction impacts general wellbeing, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward older people.
Requirements: Applicants must have proof of eligibility to work in the UK and undergo a DBS disclosure check (cost met by Avery Healthcare).
