About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit a compassionate and dedicated Bank / Relief Night Carer for Chesham Leys. Conveniently located close to Chesham town centre and on a local bus route, Chesham Leys is a purpose-built nursing care home supporting 62 residents across three distinct floors, each with its own unique character and shared spaces designed with wellbeing in mind.
As a Night Carer, you will play a crucial role through the night hours, ensuring our residents feel safe, secure, and well-cared for. From supporting personal care routines to offering a comforting presence and reassurance, you will help create a peaceful, safe environment where residents can rest easy.
Key Responsibilities
Night-Time Support: Assist residents with personal care routines, nighttime assistance, and mobility needs with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Peace & Comfort: Maintain a calm, safe, and secure environment throughout the night across our purpose-built floors, monitoring resident wellbeing closely.
Companionship: Provide emotional support, reassurance, and a friendly ear to residents who may wake up during the night.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the night team and handover colleagues to ensure consistent, high-standard care.
