Location: Mobile / Field-Based (Birmingham covering Solihull and Coventry, West Midlands)
Salary: £31,000 to £32,000 per annum + excellent benefits

Supportive Bridge is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our trusted partners for a compassionate and driven Specialist Progression Coach.
Joining the newly established Confident Futures team, you will support unemployed participants facing long-term health conditions, mental health conditions, or disabilities to overcome barriers to employment. Through personalized coaching, tailored guidance, and trusted relationship-building, you’ll help individuals rebuild their confidence, develop core employability skills, and step into sustainable work.
Caseload Management: Manage a dedicated caseload of participants, providing tailored, person-centred coaching throughout their journey to employment.
Needs Assessments: Complete holistic needs assessments to build personalized support plans reflecting individual goals and circumstances.
Barrier Mitigation: Identify employment barriers and connect participants with health, wellbeing, training, and specialist support services.
1-to-1 Coaching: Deliver practical guidance including CV building, job searches, interview preparation, and confidence-boosting activities.
Employer Engagement: Forge strong relationships with local employers to secure inclusive opportunities and match participants to suitable roles.
Compliance & Impact: Promote positive health and wellbeing outcomes while ensuring service delivery meets contract quality standards.
Experience: Proven background in coaching, motivating, or supporting individuals to achieve positive life or career outcomes.
Understanding: Deep empathy and awareness of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities, long-term health conditions, or mental health needs.
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional ability to build trust quickly and foster effective relationships with participants, employers, and external partners.
Organization: Highly organized, capable of managing a varied caseload, prioritizing effectively, and working independently in a field-based/hybrid environment.
Vetting & Compliance: This role requires an Enhanced DBS check and completion of an Occupational Health Questionnaire.
